Hey all,
Mom is comfortable, just changed to a morphine drip to manage the pain better. She appreciates your comments on the blog, we have been reading them to her as they have been coming in throughout the day. She loves and cares for all of you.
Heather and I also thank all of you who have been reading this. We had expected this blog to be a bit further developed at this point when we started it last week.

First, a little tickle....Did you know that Lena is in the room next to yours, Linda? They tried to take an x-ray of Lena's jaw at the hospital. All they got were moving pictures.
On a personal note....I just want you to know Linda that I'm grateful that we've walked life's journey together for as long we have. I am very appreciative that you are part of my life. First, we worked together, then we became neighbors, then friends having lunch together and celebrating birthdays. Soon we starting seeing each other through life's trials. Then you went on to help hire my daughter, the 2nd generation of my family to work at the library. You became a second mom to her. What a wonderful friend you are to Alicia and to me!
Then, just a few short weeks ago, we're back to a familiar routine of long phone chats, me bringing you meals and flowers, and now, we are together in prayer. Both of our hearts longing for you to have comfort and peace; our spirits together as one praying for everlasting life. You are and have always been a gentle spirit, never faltering from doing what you thought was right....you are a true believer of Jesus Christ as our Savior. I'll see you some day soon and it'll feel just like tomorrow. Since you're going ahead of me, leave me a trail of breadcrumbs, will ya? Love you, Linda....Sending you peace and love....Linda H.
